Thank you to all the riders who took part in the ride the ride on Sunday. Luckily avoiding the rain which held off until the end of the day, we hope that all participants enjoyed the event and we were grateful for the positive feedback received from riders following the ride.
Unfortunately, there was no official photographer on the ride, due to personal circumstances preventing their attendance.
This was the last Bike Events ride of 2024 and we look forward to welcoming riders again next year. In the meantime: keep pedalling, stay healthy!

Starting and finishing in Wythenshawe Park, the Manchester 100 mile will take you through beautiful country lanes on a sweep through the beautiful Cheshire landscape. Enjoy a great day's cycling with mechanics, pick-up vehicles, marshals and refreshment stops along the signed route. Cyclists will return to a warm welcome and a medal.
Choose a timeband when you book of under 6 hours, under 8 hours or under 10 hours.
Getting here by car
Wythenshawe Park is close to Jc 3a of the M56. Then take A5103, Princess Parkway and turn on to Wythenshawe Road (B5167) using the north entrance to the park off Wythenshawe Road. All day parking at Wythenshawe Park is £4.00. Buy in advance to avoid queues on the day, and have your ticket ready to show at the entrance! If you do want to buy a parking ticket on the day, please bring CASH!! If you've already bought a ticket online but haven't received it by post, don't worry, the marshals at the gate will have you on their list.
Getting here by train
Piccadilly station is only 7 miles north of the park. Please check with operator regarding carriage of bikes.
