A beautiful ride through the New Forest, helping to raise vital funds for Orchid Cancer Care - the testicular cancer charity.

There's a choice of four routes, all starting and finishing in Brockenhurst. The three longer routes cross a landscape of open vistas and autumnal woodlands while quiet roads and gentle hills make the shorter rides ideal for families.

Family-friendly Route - 15 miles - following forest tracks so nearly all traffic-free. NOT suitable for racing bikes!

"My first ever cycling event and absolutely loved it. It was tough up some of those hills, but well worth it!!!" T.W

"My friend and I completed the 47 mile circuit this Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. It was really well organised and clearly marked and well marshalled. All the riders were friendly and the route was so pretty. I know the New Forest well and passed lots of places I recognized and pubs I'd been to. Thank you for making most of the last 10 miles downhill! This really helped our tiring legs!" Adrian Barker

Orchid is the only registered charity in the UK dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of men affected by male cancer and their families.

* Over 47,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and sadly 10,000
do not survive. This equates to one man dying every hour
* Over 2,200 men every year are affected by testicular cancer. This
means that every day, 6 men are diagnosed and nearly 50% of those are aged under 35
* A further 600 men are diagnosed with the much rarer penile cancer
Behind each statistic is a man; a father, son, brother, grandfather or friend.

Paul, pictured below, was diagnosed in April 2014 when his son was just 7 months old. The next day he was in hospital having an Orchidectomy to remove the tumour. 2 weeks later he received the incredible news that the Cancer was non aggressive and had been caught at a stage where he did not require any chemotherapy. Paul and his family had never been so relieved.
