MINIMUM AGE 16 YRS.
Road bike / hybrid recommended.

All riders are required to wear a helmet. A selection of helmets will be available for purchase on the day.

** We recommend that all riders have both bike and personal liability insurances as we cannot be held responsible for damage, loss or theft of your bike or personal items or personal liability.

GPX routes are available after online booking.

Ride Gradings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).

Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).

For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).

These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

Getting here by car

Redbridge Cycling Centre is near Hainault Country Park just off the A1112 between Chigwell Row and Chadwell Heath. Free parking available all day.

Getting here by train

Hainault underground 1 mile / Stratford overground. The way to the Start will be signed. Please check with TFL (www.tfl.gov.uk) / London overground (020 3031 9200) regarding bike carriage.

Support Services

St Clare Hospice provides specialist palliative care across West Essex and in the East Herts border.
The services we provide are free to patients and their carers but cost us over £2.8 million every year. The NHS only pays around 30% of this huge sum. That means we have to raise significant amounts of money each and every year.
Your support means we can do what we do best, care for hundreds of local people every year.
