London to Cambridge

Covering 60 miles from the White Water Centre in north London to Jesus Green in Cambridge, the route winds through the peaceful country lanes and pretty villages of Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, with refreshment stops along the way to keep you fuelled and refreshed.
This event will be held in accordance with up to date Covid-safety advice from the Government, British Cycling and as advised in partnership with local statutory bodies.
We recommend that everyone taking part in one of our rides takes time to read the current How to Ride in a Group guide from British Cycling which you can read here.
Social distancing and other safety measures will be in place - full details will be emailed before the ride and updates can be seen on the Bike Events website here
We ask all riders to bring a mask, in case you need these at the refreshment stops, and to follow the Rule of 6, both when riding and at the refreshment stops which will have their own rules in place: please take note of these and follow them.
To be on the safe side, we advise riders to not join the ride if they have been in contact with a person with a positive Covid test (or they suspect may be Covid-positive) or if they feel unwell

Getting here by car
From junction 26 of M25: A121 towards Waltham Abbey, straight on at each roundabout,
At T-junction facing Royal Gunpowder Mills, left towards Waltham Cross along Highbridge St.
The entrance is in 100m on the right. To drop others off you may go into the park but you have to leave within 20 minutes or be charged.
No parking at the finish site on Jesus Common. Alternative parking is available nearby here.
COACH TRANSPORT - Covid now means we are unsure whether we are running coach and truck transport. Please check here for updates. You may take bikes on the trains from Cambridge to Cheshunt (for the Start) or on to Liverpool St. in the afternoon

Getting here by train
The nearest station to the start with a direct service from Cambridge is Cheshunt (train times tbc nearer the time). If coming from London Liverpool St., please head for Cheshunt, too.
Greater Anglia trains are happy to take bicycles, but space for bicycles is limited, so please be patient - you may have to wait for the following train.
The route to the Start will be signed from Cheshunt - please follow our arrow stickers (black arrow on orange background) through Lee Valley Park to the White Water Centre.
