redspokes Scotland 500 Cycle Holiday
Redspokes Scotland 500 cycling adventure, from Ardrossan to Sutherland is a spectacular challenge over more than 500 miles, crossing islands, following the Great Glen and Caledonia Way to Inverness then across the Black Isle biking rugged terrain to the remote Highlands.
The tour begins with a Hebridean Island hop, through outstanding natural surroundings. We follow the Mull of Kintyre alongside sea lochs to Fort William and up the Great Glen & Caledonian Canal. Enjoying the Scottish hospitality whilst taking in outstanding natural beauty, historic castles, ancient Celtic history and the wonders of Scottish engineering working in harmony with nature.
From Inverness, we cross the Black Isle to Bonar Bridge then we head to Achultibuie on the west coast. North West Scotland is one of the last great scenic cycling secrets in Europe. You then continue to the small fishing port of Lochinver. Passing white sands at Scourie bay, we find ourselves in a lunar landscape of lochs and mountains heading for Cape Wrath. Our tour ends at Lairg where we board the train back to Inverness arriving at around 12.30pm.
